H.R.H. Prince Noa Kalokuokamaile III presenting the Kamehameha Foundation Scholarship Award to Bronson Kainoa Azama
His Royal Highness Prince Noa Kalokuokamaile III on his birthday, November 29, 2021, presented the selected recipient of the Kamehameha Foundation Scholarship Award of $1,500.00 at Koʻolauloa on November 29, 2021 to Bronson Kainoa Azama.
Bronson Kainoa Azama hails from He’e’ia, Ko’olaupoko, O’ahu, an ‘ōpio advocate and Aloha ‘Āina. He is the current President of the Jr. Koʻolaupoko Hawaiian Civic, a Director for the Koʻolaupoko Hawaiian Civic Club, Chair of the Honolulu Youth Commission, member of the international youth group Heirs 2 Our Oceans, and a former State President of the Hawaii Future Farmer's of America Association and among other things. Kainoa is dedicated to seven generational thinking and hopes to inspire his peers to live a life that benefits Nā mamo ā pau loa.
Bronson submitted his application to the Kamehameha Foundation along with his essay dispelling the negative inferences regarding the Māhele which led him to be the selected recipient for the award on November 29, 2021.
His Royal Highness Prince Noa Kalokuokamaile III presented the awarded check to Bronson which was hosted at the Koʻolauloa Foundation by founder, Nara Sihavong on November 29, 2021. Bronson's Parents were also present when he accepted the awarded check as well as Papalii, Dr. Tusi Avegalio, Director of the University of Hawaiʻi Pacific Business Center.
